This device offers a 3.2" 18-bit full-color IPS display with a resolution of 320x820 pixels. It is ideal for advanced users looking for a large rectangular TFT screen with quality visuals, no matter the angle of view up to 80 degrees.
ST7701S is the driver for the Rectangle Bar RGB TTL TFT Display - 3.2" with Cap Touch, supporting both SPI and TTL RGB 'dot clock' data. Keep in mind, SPI is only for configuring the display - it cannot be used to create visual elements. Additionally, its 40-pin connector differs from typical 800x480 (4.3", 5" or 7") or 480x272 (4.3") displays. It's a distinct and innovative kind of product.
Achieving RGB TFT driving requires a chip capable of TTL, such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM, or a computer like the Raspberry Pi with either direct-DPI or ICN6211 connection. As this is not something that can be done with typical boards like an Arduino or Feather, a more powerful microcontroller is necessary.
It also has a lovely bezel with a capacitive touch display (FT6336U) with connection for I2C and IRQ on the 40-pin FPC.
This is just the display module! No driver PCB is included.
You cannot use these with an everyday microcontroller unless it specifically has support for RGB-666 displays so please do not purchase unless you know for sure that it can plug into a driver board with the correct pinout as well.
